Flexible installation for RV roofs, ladders, and tracks

1. Choose a T-track, ladder/pole, or fixed-surface location that places the outside antenna above the RV roof plane and surrounding equipment.
2. Confirm the adjustable mount can move safely through its folding range and that the chosen surface can support the assembly.
3. Assemble the mount, 13-inch extension, side-exit adapter, spring, and exterior antenna exactly as shown in the official guide, applying thread lock only where directed.
4. For a fixed roof installation, use RV-compatible fasteners and weatherproof sealant appropriate for the roof material. These items may need to be supplied by the installer.
5. Route the 25-foot cable through the weatherproof entry cover, protect every penetration, and keep the cable away from heat, sharp edges, slide mechanisms, and pinch points.
6. Install the mini-panel antenna near the primary seating, work, or hotspot area and aim it toward devices. Maximize physical separation from the exterior antenna.
7. Mount the booster with adequate airflow, connect the labeled SMA ports, and choose the included AC/DC wall supply or fused 12V hardwire configuration.
8. Raise the exterior antenna to the upright 90-degree operating position, power the system, and verify a normal green light. Increase antenna separation if red or blinking-red feedback appears.

Technical specifications

Frequently asked questions

Is Drive Reach RV II the same as RV20?

Yes. weBoost currently markets SKU 474061 as the RV20; it was previously named Drive Reach RV II.

What size RV is it best for?

It works with RV classes and towable trailers but is optimized for compact rigs under roughly 25 feet. RV35 and RV50 are intended for progressively larger interiors.

Does it work while driving?

Yes. Its omni-directional outside antenna does not require tower aiming and can support cellular connectivity while the RV is moving or parked.

Can I use it with Starlink?

Yes. They operate independently: RV II strengthens existing cellular service, while Starlink provides satellite internet and requires its own service plan and sky visibility.

How close should devices be to the inside antenna?

For the strongest result, place phones, hotspots, or modems within approximately one to two feet and aim the mini-panel toward them.

Will it work in a complete dead zone?

No. The exterior antenna needs at least some usable carrier signal for the booster to amplify.

What does a red light mean?

A red or blinking-red light generally indicates feedback between the antennas. Power down, increase separation, and retest following the official guide.
