The Zinwave 8000 Secondary Hub provides essential signal extension capabilities for commercial distributed antenna systems, connecting to primary hubs via two core fiber optic cable to extend optical signal reach and provide additional coverage. This secondary hub supports both optical connectivity to the primary hub and optical/electrical connectivity to up to eight remotes per unit.
Designed for enterprise and campus-wide installations, the Zinwave 8000 Secondary Hub features integrated Power Supply Unit (PSU) functionality within its 1RU chassis. The unit delivers reliable 48V DC power to connected remotes through eight 2-way Phoenix connectors via copper wire connections. Secondary hubs offer flexible deployment options, allowing installation alongside primary hubs or distributed throughout campus environments based on specific site requirements.
