Shipping:
We offer shipping via UPS, Fedex, USPS, or Speedee. Orders received Monday-Friday will typically ship the same business day when received by 11am CST for orders shipping via Speedee, and 1:30pm CST for orders being processed via UPS, Fedex, or USPS.
Limited Warranty:
Northstar supports the manufacturer warranty to be free from defects in material and workmanship. All products should be shipped to Northstar, with the freight pre-paid, and the return including a copy of the original sales invoice. Products will only be accepted when accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) with a completed RMA Form. This number may be obtained by contacting us via email at sales@northstardist.com or by contacting us by phone at 1-877-483-1315.
This limited warranty does not cover and is void with respect to the following:
- No returns on special orders.
- Any product subject to misuse, abuse, accident, physical damage, liquid damage, abnormal operation, improper handling, neglect, exposure of fire, exposure to excessive moisture and/or water, extreme climate temperatures.
- Any cosmetic damage.
- Any product on which warranty stickers, serial numbers, have been removed, altered, or rendered illegible.
- Any installations, removal, and re-installation of product or its peripheral devices.
- Any damage as a result of fire, flood or acts of God.
- Any custom-made cable assemblies.
Returning Merchandise:
Returns of good merchandise will not be accepted after 30 days from invoice date.
RMA Forms can be obtained by contacting us via email at sales@northstardist.com or by calling 1-877-483-1315. RMA numbers must be obtained from Northstar prior to returning the product. All returns of GOOD MERCHANDISE must be the complete product, in original packaging. Returns with defaced/altered original packaging will be charged a 25% restocking fee. Any returns of incomplete product will be disposed of, will not receive credit, and will not be returned.
Upon Issuance of an RMA:
- Properly package merchandise for shipment to prevent damage. Northstar is not responsible for products damaged during shipment.
- Clearly state RMA number on the outside of the shipping package. RMA numbers expire after 30 days.
- Ship the product with the freight prepaid to Northstar.
- A copy of the original invoice and completed RMA form must accompany the returned product.
Upon receipt by Northstar, Merchandise will be verified for accuracy. Merchandise received without discrepancies will be processed within 3-5 business days.
Northstar retains the right to amend, modify, change, or delete any of the information within this document.
Return Policy
Incorrect Orders:
Northstar authorizes customers to return incorrect orders within 3 business days to exchange the merchandise that was incorrectly ordered by the customer. Incorrect orders reported after 3 business days will be assessed a 25% restocking fee. Returns of “Good Merchandise” will not be accepted after 30 days from the invoice date.
Incorrect Shipment, Shipment Shortages, and Discrepancies:
Northstar will authorize the customer to return, for exchange or credit, any merchandise that was incorrectly shipped by Northstar. All shortages and discrepancies of any kind must be reported to Northstar within 5 business days from the time of receipt. Northstar will be responsible for all shipping costs for any incorrect shipments and shipment shortages, excluding back-order items.

Product Liability:
The maximum product liability to Northstar arising from any product sold will match the price of the aforementioned sold product. In no event will Northstar, its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents be liable for damages related to product sold. Any legal action against Northstar shall be governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.
Limitations of Liability:
In no event will Northstar be liable to the buyer under any cause of actions or claim of any nature whatsoever, regardless of whether characterized as tort, negligence, contract, warranty, or otherwise, for any loss of profits or other economics loss.
Privacy:
We will only use the personal information you provide us to service your orders and respond to your requests. Your information will not be shared/sold/distributed to other companies. Please note when a portion of your order is shipped from the manufacturer, we will provide them with your shipping address and contact information.
